Mu Psi Dominates Nationals!

Wow, what a trip! Baltimore was a great host city for the Beta Alpha Psi National Conference and we even checked out the other Washington (D.C.) for a few hours. Our momentum from the Regional Conference carried through to the National competitions where we took home some hardware and Ron Tilden left behind clothes to make room in his suitcase. Thank you very much to all Mu Psi members who helped and participated in making our Chapter stand out (only a few are pictured below).

The UWB Best Practices Team took home 1st, JC earned 3rd for his Diversity project, and Jay did Mu Psi proud in his Project Run With It presentation. Check out our Awards and see Ron’s “Trip Report“. The Conference was not all about us and there were many great experiences.

The most awe-inspiring for us was the Project Homeless service event. Hundreds of BAP members helped nearly a thousand Baltimore citizens with basic needs, such as nutritious food. The event was held at Raven’s Stadium and proved the impact we can have on a community.

This experience is a great jump start for our Chapter with Fall Quarter approaching. I hope some of you are excited for the upcoming year as the competitions like Best Practices can be a yearlong commitment. Remember, we have a reputation to defend now. See everyone soon and read Ron’s “Trip Report for more details of the trip.
