There is a service opportunity available, please RSVP as soon as possible as it is a first come first serve basis. Details below.

What: UWB BAP is volunteering for Hopelink in Kirkland.

This counts for SERVICE HOURS!

Where: Hopelink Kirkland/Northshore Center, 11011 120th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033

When: February 19, 2016 from 1 – 3pm.

Why: When a family doesn’t have enough food – the most basic human need – stability in other areas is impossible. Hopelink provides food for survival and nutrition education for self-sufficiency.

Parking: Please park in front of building (along the street is ok), but not to the side or in the back. The latter spaces are reserved for the food bank clients. RSVP Link: Hopelink – BAP Service Opportunity

Hello Everyone,

Our BAPTEC Excel Certification course is just around the corner. This course is an introduction to the basics of Excel and is designed to give you the tools necessary to perform the most commonly utilized excel functions you will need in the workplace. Topics covered in the first two weeks will range from the basics of data manipulation to building pivot tables. The third week will include a certification exam. Students who pass the exam will have the option to add our excel certification to their resume. This course is free of charge and open to all business and accounting majors

Elizabeth Widdison, retired professor in the Masters of Accounting program at UW Seattle will be here to teach us about business writing. Topics could include how to write emails, memos, and other essential skills for our professional careers.

Campus representatives from Becker, Wiley, Roger review courses will be in attendance to discuss the CPA exams. They will also be there to answer questions about their individual review courses. Dinner will start around 5:45.
