UW Bothell BAP will be working with United Way of King and Snohomish County to assist low income residents with their 2011 tax returns. VITA provides free tax preparation services for working people in our area to assist them to keep more of what they earned and save for the future!

This is a great way to learn to prepare tax returns, obtain real life experience, participate in community service in our area and obtain service hours for BAP!

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)

VITA – King County

HOW: Click on this link and sign up for one of the various centers throughout King County.

WHAT: Volunteers are asked to commit to one 4 hour shift from January 15 – April 15, 2013.

Also, new volunteers are required to attend a 2 days of training (repeat volunteers are required to

attend 1 day training).

REQUIREMENTS: Please keep track of your hours on the tracking sheet provide by BAP

and submit the document at the end of the season.

VITA – Snohomish County

HOW: Click on this link and sign up for one of the various centers throughout Snohomish County.

WHAT: Volunteers are asked to commit to one 4 hour shift from January 22– April 15, 2013.

Also, new volunteers are required to attend 2 days of training (repeat volunteers are required to

attend 1 day training).

REQUIREMENTS: Please keep track of your hours on the tracking sheet provide by BAP

and submit the document at the end of the season.
